DB: There’s a song called “Beautiful World” that’s about trying to look at the world in a positive attitude which definitely comes from having a daughter. I did a duet with Patty Griffin on that which is a really good song . . .

NBC: I hear she’s already on tour with you. She’s on the tour bus.

DB: I wish. Gosh. [stammering] She’s … I’m a … she’s an icon to me. I’m a huge fan of Patty Griffin. So, if she wants to ride on our tour bus . . .

NBC: No, no, I mean your baby.

DB: Oh, the baby [whole band starts laughing]

I’m not sure if the woman from NBC had any idea who Patty Griffin might be, but Dierks, YOU know quite well who she is.

Feel the Fire was released on February 3, 2009.
